We are seeking short story writers who are being successfully published in magazines and/or placed in competitions, but don’t yet have a book deal.
The Prize
Their are six prizes which will be awarded by the InkTears judging panel:
-
• Winner: £150
-
• Runner-up: £50
-
• 4x Highly Commended: £25
All prize winners will get their:
-
• Story published to the InkTears Readership
-
• Bio published on InkTears site
In addition, if the writer has enough quality short stories we will offer the option of a contract to publish a short story collection. If they are at an early stage of development as a writer, we may consider including their work in an anthology. All writers will get to meet InkTears face-face to discuss their publishing goals and aspirations, and we will seek to help them.
