Pauline Barbieri

I often think about the 'Loner' and wonder how other people see them. I ask myself why they are alone? What is their story?

I wanted to write a simple story circulating around a single colour. I think my stories are in fact paintings. This story comes together with thirty other stories in a 'linked' telling, which kind of echo the Canterbury Tales. The collection has a structure of 'A thousand and one nights' as the people are trapped in an airport lounge during a bomb scare and each one has to tell a tale. I have had four or five published so far.
