Anthony Howcroft


Anthony is a writer, and technology entrepreneur. He has a Creative Writing Diploma from Oxford University and is the founder and Executive Chairman of InkTears. He currently lives in Southern California where he is CEO at SWARM Engineering, a startup in cognitive computing that enables teams of machines to collaborate in solving complex problems, and prior to that he led Microsoft’s Data Warehouse Sales Team across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  As a writer, his stories have been published in a variety of periodicals including The London Magazine, Brand, Writer's Magazine USAWords with Jam, Succour, Salt Publishing’s Horizon Review and Riptide. His work has also appeared in many collections such as Momaya, the HG Wells prize collection, Cinnamon Press and the Waterstones / Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology. In addition to prose, Anthony has published graphic stories and been broadcast on BBC radio.  Anthony’s short story collection, Nobody Will Ever Love You, was published in 2014.


Sara-Mae Tuson


Sara-Mae is an editor and copywriter with many years of publishing and editorial experience. She has worked with many periodicals, including roles as a social media consultant at Loose Muse - the women's literary organization, managing editor at Trespass magazine, and was the first female editor of The London Magazine - which has been running for over 300 years. She has worked with global pharmaceutical companies, a national charity, and ad agencies, amongst others. Sara-Mae has also had short fiction, poetry and articles published in many locations, including the Salt anthology Overheard, The Emma Press, Dark River Press, The Erotic Review and many more. She also writes and performs as a musician, and if you listen carefully, you can hear her playing in the background of several InkTears videos!


Helen Scully

Helen looks after much of our competition administration and marketing, as well as being one of our contest judges. She has a broad and diverse range of skills, and has launched and run her own businesses in pet treats (her famous dog birthday cakes were on sale at Selfridges in London), gardening, and children's clothing.  Helen has worked in real-estate, and for legal firms in a variety of roles, and has been part of the InkTears team since the very beginning.
